各ユニットにあるリビングダイニングの一角には畳コーナーを設け、家庭的な温かみのある空間となることを目指しました。
思い入れのあったシンボルツリーは施設の館銘板や室名札となり、施設創設の志し（戦後の焼け野原で行き場のなかった子どもの面倒を見た愛の精神）を受け継いでいます。
This children's home is operated by Wakabaen, a social welfare corporation.
We aimed to create a warm, home-like space by creating a tatami corner in one corner of the living/dining room in each unit.
The symbolic tree, which was a source of great affection, became the facility's nameplate and room nameplate, carrying on the aspiration of the facility's founding (the spirit of love that took care of children who had nowhere else to go in the burnt-out wilderness of the postwar period).
