都市計画公園の中に位置する⽼朽化した久留⽶競輪場を再整備するにあたっての基本⽅針の策定です。策定にあたってはプロポーザル方式によって選定されました。
基本⽅針の策定に際して、公園と久留⽶競輪場の関係性を考慮しながら「建築」「ランドスケープデザイン」「ソフト」の３つの視点から検討しました。
整備の基本⽅針を「PARK in KEIRIN ‒競輪場に公園の価値を創る-」と定め、競輪のみに限らず、スポーツ、⾃然、歴史、教育など多様なニーズを持った⼈々が集い、繋がり、公園としての機能を持ち合わせた未来へと歩む競輪場を⽬指しています。
観戦機能を集約し、運営の効率化と迫⼒あるレースを堪能できるとともに、コンパクト化によって⽣じるスペースを多⽬的に活⽤できる芝⽣の観覧スペースを計画しました。
This project was to formulate basic policies for the redevelopment of the Kurushima Bicycle Racetrack, a deteriorating facility located in an urban planning park. The project was selected through a proposal process.
The basic policy was developed from the three perspectives of "architecture," "landscape design," and "software," taking into consideration the relationship between the park and the Kurushima Bicycle Track.
The basic policy of the development was set as "PARK in KEIRIN - Creating the value of a park in a bicycle racecourse", aiming to create a bicycle racecourse that will walk into the future with the function of a park, where people with various needs such as sports, nature, history, and education can gather and connect, not limited to bicycle racing.
We have planned a spectator area with a grass viewing area, which will allow for more efficient operation, more intense races, and more efficient use of the space created by the compactness of the facility.
